Claras and my sixth Minecraft anniversary 0 ▲ Rubenerd 1 hour ago · Gaming · hide It’s now our sixth year playing Minecraft together, and we’re still on the same server and map we started back in 2020. This year we decided to terraform the inside of our hollow desert Infdev Pyramid we built from scratch over many weeks… … into a glowstone cave, with the requisite number of cakes :). We make one of these anniversary gardens each year. I shared our first and third anniversary ones here too. We haven’t explored that much more of the map over the last year, it’s mostly been upgrading our metro system and exploring areas of the map we hadn’t been to in years. You can probably see where our HQ and spawn is based on the number of clustered pins: Minecraft remains the comfy game we play after work and on a lazy Sunday afternoon, though it’s oddly also taught me a lot more about using ZFS and running OpenJDK on both FreeBSD and NetBSD. That warrants its own post. By Ruben Schade in Sydney, 2026-11-08. Commenting on Bubbles has been removed. Why?
