Addition of an Atom feed 0 ▲ Open source software and nice hardware 1 hour ago · Tech · hide Addition of an Atom feed This website haa been accompanied by a RSS 2.0 feed for a very long time. RSS is important to keep the open web living and to put the user in control. Every time the site generator builds the website, it also builds the RSS feed. Now the site generator is extended with the building of an Atom feed.. The Atom Syndication Format is an XML language used for web feeds. The Atom format was developed to clarify RSS ambiguities. Compared to RSS 2.0, the Atom format is stricter and a bit harder to generate. Both feeds are published next to each other. Your feed reader should auto-discover at least one of them.
