Divinity Original Sin 2 - Act 4 - Driftwood 31h48

So many dead fish and a dead chicken. Larian sure love making disgusting environments hunh. And everybody here is racist against lizards, feels just like being back in Skyrim. We went into Driftwood today and didn't get much accomplished, but did get up to Level 10 through quite a bit of quest EXP. First step in town is of course to talk to all the vendors and mark on the map which ones sell which skill books. Then talk to some kids whose friend swam out into the sea. Found a different adult corpse buried on the beach, who was trying to escape the magisters. There's a wharf with a magister making silent monks load up a ship. Talking to him somehow lead to Anar being deputized as a wannabe magister and gained both a letter of passage and some information. I was hoping to kill him after accepting his quests, but he got on his ship and sailed away too quickly. We got a ton of EXP for just talking to this guy for some reason.
