Moana (2026)

StarringCatherine Lagaʻaia, Dwayne Johnson, Rena Owen, John Tui, and Frankie AdamsDirectorThomas KailOverviewThe ocean chose her for a reason.Teenage Moana answers the Ocean's call and, for the first time, voyages beyond the reef of her island of Motunui with infamous demigod Maui on an unforgettable journey to restore prosperity to her people.Review Moana This was a solid remake and a perfect plane movie. Did we need a live action remake of a nearly perfect animated film that’s only ten years old? No. That said, it exists and was very well done. It doesn’t beat the original though, but it likely gives a whole new generation the ability to see their culture on screen. And that is never a bad thing. Buy on Amazon
