The Blue Wave Won't Save Us

Democrats, Liberals and folks who like to claim they are enlightened and modern are celebrating this morning in the U.S. at their blue wave victory. It's fucking hilarious. Why? Because these people actually believe the fantasy that these Democratic politicians are their saviors. That they are the solution to the all the fucked up problems in the U.S. That the scourge of Republicans and MAGA will now be eradicated. Oh children, how soon you forget. Let's just be clear. These are politicians. American politicians. They don't give a rats ass about you. And to be very fair, Republicans are equally as bad. They have two things that drive them: their wallet and their power. That is it. Really. Democrats swept the House and Senate last night, and a lot of people are calling it a turning point. I don't buy it. I have problems with both parties, and the reason is simple: every time one side wins and the other loses, nothing fundamentally gets better. The cycle just repeats.
