Too Much to Say about Games and No Time to Say it

I want to write about several games I’ve been trying out for the last month, and once again I get stuck. Writing is just not the right medium for games. First, there’s too much to say about each game, and I feel like I have to rave about each one until my fingers fall off. Second, they are visual — they need to be seen. The answer is the same as it’s always been: videos. But videos take time. Writing a long post takes a couple of hours, which can spread over a day or two. Making a video takes days, and it can stretch over weeks. It just doesn’t scale, not with the time I have. It’s a dilemma I keep facing. I want to talk about these games because I enjoy them and I spend hours gaming each week, but I’m not sure I want to spend two weeks or so working on a single video.
