Book Review: Hunger by Choi Jin-young, Soje 0 ⲠCaffeine and Lasers 2 days ago ¡ Writing ¡ hide Rating: đ§ Type: Fiction They call it "*Hunger*" but the only thing I was feeling was "*Disgust*" **Amiright**??? The book was clearly trying to do something with the concept of what it means to be one with someone else. Merge mind, body and soul. The result was evocative sure. But with a few days of reflection, I remember the descriptions of swallowing fingernails more than I do any commentary about love under techno-feudal capitalism, so I am not totally sure it was successful in its ambition. The descriptions of consumption were awful in all the right ways though. I think I need to go and read "Silence of the lambs" to calm down. Commenting on Bubbles has been removed. Why?
