Chrome Chasm :: The Aquarium Drunkard Interview 0 ▲ Doom & Gloom From The Tomb 1 hour ago · Music · hide Chrome Chasm :: The Aquarium Drunkard InterviewI haven’t done a ton of interviews for Aquarium Drunkard this year, but they’ve all been good — Matt Valentine, Styrofoam Winos, Andy Beta, Willis Alan Ramsey … and now, Chrome Chasm! A cool chat that ranges from Tarot cards to Pink Floyd to Jandek and more. The multi-talented Chrome Chasm, featuring Tom Carter, Mlee Marie and Will Adams, just unleashed their first vinyl situation after a handful of cassettes. And it is magnificent, a total trip that blends acid-rock with pedal steel, beautiful drones with spacious spiritual jazz vibes. Released on the venerable Silver Current label, Interpreter gets a very high recommendation from yours truly. Check it out. Chrome Chasm are venturing outside of the Lone Star State this month for some shows on the east coast; if you’re anywhere in the area, go see ‘em. The rest of us will have to live with those aforementioned cassettes — Live at Jardin is currently hitting the spot for me. 📸 Roger… Commenting on Bubbles has been removed. Why?
