Bass guitar book-matched maple top: re-sawn by hand

Another bit of preparation for the 32” scale bass that I hope to build for myself “at some point”. I’ve had a beautiful, figured maple top in stock for many years, but at 28mm I considered it too thick and therefore too heavy to use. I finally plucked up the courage to re-saw it by hand……….
