FediWriMo 2026-11-02

Image of Word-Smith’s Organizer and History Chart Shorter update for today. I knew that I was going to have a couple of days right at the beginning of the event when I wouldn’t be able to make as much progress. But, I wanted to be certain that I didn’t fall behind. So, I’ve managed to stay ahead of the curve by ~820 words. That might seem like a lot. But tomorrow I’m going to have even less time to write than I did today, so the more I can stay ahead the better. Now for the remainder of tonight I need to focus on developing characters, settings, etc. I have all the sheets set up. (One of the reasons I included the Word-Smith Organizer in the screenshot today was so you can see the links to all the of the character and setting sheets. One of the great features of working in Obsidian.) I have been doing some thinking about how this story works a bit more.
