ready for shellac..........

I wasn't sure if I would have gotten to this point today. I had an estate planning appointment in the PM and that was constantly in my thoughts while working in the AM. I'll be doing the shellac finish starting in the AM tomorrow.hmm..........There is zero room to swing a hammer to get the clip mortises in the long aprons. I will be able to get a clip on the short ends. I only have to do the top short aprons. wooden table clipsI am only using two on the long clips. Once the top is secured with these four and if it looks like it needs help, I can add a couple more as needed.hmm......Another oops I missed on the first go around. I didn't clean up any of the apron layout markings. before I forgotMarked 3/16" on each side of the leg for the chamfer. I couldn't use the cradle I made but I managed to secure one leg at a time in the vise. No issues planing the chamfers after that.one down, three to goI will have to sharpen this iron because there is a nick in it.the battle planThe big boy…
