Docket Watch: Monday Edition

Bill is on this morning's docket "to be spoken to" and it's listed as a video appearance, which means it'll be brief, and there is a 0% chance that he'll be released today... I would like to believe that there's a 0% chance of him being released on any day prior to his sentencing, mostly because I believe there is a 100% chance he'll run and/or hide again if he has the opportunity, but I'm not that optimistic. His ongoing bail conditions (set after his first arrest in 2024, and expanded earlier this year) stipulate that he must have two sureties, each pledging $2,500; I would not be at all surprised if, after this little escapade, the number of sureties (and the amount of money they have to post as bond) is increased (at least doubled). In 2015, his bail was (at one point) set at a whopping $20,000 (split evenly between four sureties).
