Off-Road. 0 ▲ Life Is Such A Sweet Insanity. 9 hours ago · Life · hide · 0 comments The forecast models showed lots of rain today, but not a lot in the way of lightning. I knew it wouldn’t be a storm chaser photogenic day, but it could still be interesting. So I took the Jeep out and about during the record rainfall. I ended up climbing the “primitive road” between Oracle and Mount Lemmon, coming up the back side of the mountain. This road is definitely not for passenger cars. This was my first time climbing some rocks and crawling over some decent rock formations with this Jeep. It did very well. Most of the equipment in the back of the Jeep bounced around along with me and the two ducks on the dash, and I managed to sever one of my tech cables in the back. I still had a lot of fun. I came down the familiar side of Mount Lemmon to head home. There were impressive waterfalls all along the drive, as well as a lot of fallen rock. It was exciting. This video is hosted locally and not on YouTube. Here’s a couple of photos I captured on the climb up Mount Lemmon. No comments yet. Log in to reply on the Fediverse. Comments will appear here.
