One Week In, Here Are My Favourite iPhone Duo Apps

The iPhone Duo has unlocked some new design choices from the App Store’s best developers. These apps have never been more beautiful.The iPhone Duo has been in my hands for just under one week. And it’s been a week — I am so far away from developing a firm opinion on this device, I doubt I’ll be able to put coherent thoughts together by Christmas.In a sense, I think this may be a microcosm of what we saw out of pre-release reviews. Some reviews suggested “the future is foldable!” boldly, while others said the Duo is effectively a beta device. I disagree with both positions, but don’t have my own firmly held position yet. I hope time will tell.For now, I want to highlight some of my favourite iPhone Duo apps from this first week. It’s almost like app design has discovered a new echelon — the best apps shine on iPhone Duo in ways I never thought possible.
