Three months on from August: 19 pieces: 1 novella, 5 short CNF, 13 short stories 196 total submissions 126 rejections 3 published 2 accepted, forthcoming Has turned into: 22 pieces: 1 novella, 7 short CNF, 14 short stories 269 total submissions 168 rejections 7 published 2 accepted, forthcoming (novella & a micro CNF) The new pieces since last time: “Triptych” (CNF) went up at Wordgathering, Vol. 20, Issue 1. This one is kind of hard to define. Prose-poem-esque-tismy-thing? “Inheritance” (fiction) is in Cowboy Jamboree, Issue 12.1 “Eagle-Eyed.” The closest I’ve come to grit-lit. I do realist, for sure, but this has a definite flavor of the South to it. “Here’s to a New You” (fiction) is in Rawhead & Bloody Bones’ Halloween 2026 issue. Existential horror and maybe a little self-help satire mixed in. “A Good Mother” (fiction) went live at Crow & Cross Keys on Halloween.
