I wrote a short while ago about the excellent Super Mariomon, a romhack of Pokemon Emerald that turns the game into a Super Mario adventure where you catch and battle with traditional Mario enemies. Well a few days ago I finally rolled the credits on Super Mariomon! It is a full and complete game, and I believe I clocked in at around 26 hours when I finally beat the champion. I know there’s a good amount of post-game content as well, but I think I’ll be taking a short break from the game before I think about diving back into it. I’m not a completionist in the slightest, but I do kinda want to see what else is in there, just for the fun of it. Overall the game was great, with only a few points of annoyance, which are just things in Pokemon and RPG games that peeve me in general, such as areas that are puzzles or mazes, and I can’t figure out where to go, and meanwhile I keep getting attacked every few steps. But that happened very little in this game and didn’t sour me on the overall…
