Week 44 of 2026

Another quiet and uneventful week. Work doing a good job of making me feel exhausted. Managed to get a quote to replace the fence that fell over last week. It's already fallen over twice since we've lived here, so I will be glad to have it replaced with something that doesn't have me staring into the garden every time there is a relatively strong gust of wind. I spent a bit of time playing career mode in EA Sports FC 27 on the PlayStation 5. The manager career seems to have got way more complex than it used to be. Couldn't get my head around negotiating transfer fees with instalments. I can see why many managers/head coaches don't want to be a part of that process in real life. Grateful I didn't buy the game at full price. Running: Decided to stop the Garmin coach plan I had been using this week. I realised that my fitness levels were not getting any better, and I really want to get back to the fitness levels I had before I got injured. The plan I was using was not going to help me…
