Wow. I almost missed my favorite time of year. I know, I know. How does a person accidentally miscalculate October 31st? Halloween. It’s not exactly a movable holiday. It’s been on the calendar for centuries. And yet, somehow, here I am. I was genuinely prepared to mourn the loss of spooky season. Another year gone. Another opportunity to celebrate all things creepy, crawly, and unnecessarily covered in fake blood squandered. And then… I remembered. The universe hasn’t abandoned me. It hasn’t forsaken me. It has actually delivered me directly into the single greatest holiday of the entire calendar year: The Day-After-Halloween Candy Clearance Event. People, it’s November 1st. The real magic is just beginning. Because today, grocery store aisles become wonderlands of discounted chocolate where peanut butter cups are marked down to prices that defy basic economic logic. And nobody is going to judge you for loading three (okay, fine, five) bulk bags of full-size Reese’s into your cart…
