Activities BoF report & call for action

This is a long one, because 1) there was a lot that we discussed at Akademy, and 2) since many people are not aware of Activities, I wanted to provide some more context, so people can understand better. Overwhelming interest¶ That I think Activities are cool should come as no surprise. What was surprising though was just how much interest in Activities turns out there is the community: at the Activity BoF, we were about 30 people and it was a very constructive meeting the video recording (PeerTube, YouTube) of my Activities BoF lightning talk has already had more than 1.200 views – which I find just utterly wild completely independent from each other, apart from mine there were two other talks at Akademy that touched upon Activities and how they can be a foundation for cool advanced stuff – in the BoF we have taken some inspiration from them This is all to say: it is the right time for Activities to finally shine!
