Orktober ‘26 – Scratchbuilt Orky Watchtower

Happy Halloween folks I didn’t think I’d be painting or posting today but here we are. I built this little Ork watchtower a couple of days ago from the base up and just made it up as I went along. It was fun and sort of took on a life of its own haha. I imagine it, and its crew of two, to have been completely forgotten about. Left on some desolate and barren wasteland desert planet a very long time ago. They can’t even remember getting there themselves but they know they need to man the tower and keep a watchful eye on the horizon for baddies. They mostly eat sand and dry foliage. The Ork has been tempted many, many, many times to eat the Grot but knows if he does he’d be completely alone. The two get along quite well and it’s a simple life for them. They keep watch all day and then take shifts watching through the night. They eat, they sleep and they arm wrestle a lot too. The Ork always wins of course but that doesn’t ever deter the Grot from trying. They don’t know each others…
