Not been entirely convinced this idea I had of a small supernatural snippet everyday on the run up to Halloween has entirely worked, but its mostly been fun for me. Some of the posts were blog ideas that never got off the ground (Hartlebury Wizard), a couple were off the cuff writing (ghost, witches), and one actually developed far more than I thought it would, (Devil) as I got interested in the literature around the legend and was able to put that into the blog. So for completeness sake, I’ll end with today’s. I had originally going to tell a ghost story of Sir Peter and his spectral pack of hounds around Harvington Hall, but that may now wait for another day. Instead I’m going with slightly less than supernatural and even less folkloric idea of the panther of Powick, the feline of Fernhill and the moggie of Madresfield, big cat sightings across Worcestershire.
