Rudimentary Lathe comes out of retirement for the 3rd time 0 ▲ baty.net 1 hour ago · Life · hide · 0 comments I miss when a bunch of us weirdos overshared on our TiddlyWikis nearly every day. Most are gone or unmaintained now. Can we bring them back? I'll start: rudimentarylathe.org Nearly 5,000 notes going back to 2018, and man oh man, at least 4,800 of them are an embarrassment. I should keep this stuff to myself, but that horse left the barn long ago. We used to write "TiddlyMails" to each other (I don't think we actually called them that). I'd write a note that simply mentioned someone with their own wiki. They'd read it, and write a note on their wiki with a link back and a title something like: "Re: That thing you wrote". It was completely manual and done without pings or notifications of any kind. So fun! If you have a similar wiki, let me know. I'd love to visit! TiddlyWiki is more than 20 years old and still a miracle to me. ✍️ Reply by email No comments yet. Log in to reply on the Fediverse. Comments will appear here.
