console/entry table pt IX..........

it has been a whileI had to stop and think about this table again. It has been too long since I initially figured out the dimensions. I had to stop and try to remember exactly how I had done it. The problem area is the bottom shelf is shorter on the length then the top shelf. Finally got it - the ends of the bottom shelf sit on the bottom stretchers and over hang them a wee bit.got itThe top stretchers ended up 23 1/2" with the legs being inset two inches from the ends.slow goingThe legs and the top stretchers are sawn to finished length. The bottom shelf stretcher I left as is and I'll get its finished length after the table is glued and cooked.wake up callTwo faces on each of these four legs were rough sawn and I had to smooth them. Started with the 5 1/2 and got short of breath before finishing the first face. I had to stop for a few before resuming but I was ok after that. I didn't lose my breath to where I had to stop. I was able to work through and get all 8 faces done.drilling…
