Big Changes

So, we’ve moved back. Back to the UK. I had planned on writing this before we moved. In fact, I started the draft in July... but alas. Here we are, two months into living in the UK. Since I last posted, Mel has gotten into Cambridge University for her PhD. She has finished up her work for the New York City Food Policy Center and is beginning her PhD in Criminology continuing her research on food in prisons this fall. As her program will take a few years, and I did not handle doing long distance for a year well: I have moved with her to Cambridge! For those who are long time followers of this blog or my life, you know that my first time living in the UK in 2014 & 2015 did not go great. Worked too much, had trouble getting comfortable and meeting people. It was dark times. But this time will be better! I'll stay on my meds, I won't be alone, and Cambridge is smaller than London.
