Weeknote #2024

WordArt is back, baby. This is fun. Put in a postcode or area and Local Wikipedia shows you articles local to you. Postmark make games that are printable and just need common game components like cards or dice to play. Neat. Wonders of Web Weaving, a podcast I was a guest on back in August, has just published it's 25th and final episode. James has some behind the scenes info here about the show. Shep, a prolific maker of web things, posted about Instant Fail which is a soundboard of fail sounds and that led me to find his F16 Bit project — "Real Formula 1 race data, redrawn as a 16-bit arcade broadcast". So good. Stupid game trailer made me feel things. Lou reminded me I needed to do my llms.txt. So I did. The trailer for the new Jumanji dropped and it looks as stupid as ever. I can't wait. I learned about Psalty and I can never unsee it.
