Today’s a big haul of recordings, and they’re all from a Film Four Star Trek season. So apologies in advance as these are going to be bits I like rather than longer synopses. The first recording starts with the very end of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. Still the best. Before the next installment, there’s an introduction from Leonard Nimoy. Then it’s Star Trek III: The Search for Spock. It’s an odd-numbered one so according to the rules it’s a bad one. But there’s plenty in it I like. And one thing I do not like. I like Christopher Lloyd as the Klingon captain Kruge. If I have to put up with Klingon bollocks, I’d rather it was with a fun actor. Not his best villain role, though, that would be Judge Doom in Who Framed Roger Rabbit. I love this Spacedock miniature. There’s a brief Cameo from Grace Lee Whitney, as Former Yeoman Janice Rand. Kirstie Alley was suddenly a big star, I guess because Robin Curtis is now playing Lt Saavik. Mark Lenard plays Spock’s father Sarek. Fun fact,…
