48 Cabbage Continuing with incremental changes to the blog, I adjusted the size and compressed all my blog post images. By doing this I was able to shrink my storage usage from 570 MB to 46 MB which is a big improvement. After transferring my photos to my computer, I use Mac Preview Tools > Adjust Size and I do 1200 px as the width. I believe in an email, Pagecord says the images are automatically resized to 1600 x 1200 when uploaded to the blog and the originals are kept in storage along with the resized ones. After saving the photos as the new size, I use Tyniy (many thanks to the person who made this app) to compress the images. This app is really great and has been working well for me. The images are about 50% smaller after compression and the app is a free alternative to JPEGmini.
