My blog email broke! —and other troubles.

I recently discovered that the email account associated with my blog and its domain wasn't working, so if you have tried to email me about my blog recently and I never replied, I am sorry about that. I have been pretty busy lately, both with work and with my kids (one just started school!), and also a constant relentless barrage of illness (surely related to school) so it took me a while to notice the problem, and then about another week after that to fix it. I have committed to managing more of my own Internet services — and I'm using "running" loosely here. I am not running my own email, but I am using my own domains and a service I pay for rather than just defaulting to Gmail. I was trying to run my own Bluesky PDS rather than just use Instagram. I do run my own services too, when it's feasible. But I digress. My point is if I just defaulted to the free-and-easy, my email never would have gone down for a month or maybe more. To even take the half steps I took takes a lot more time…
