MTG: The Hobbit

This is my set recap for the Hobbit MTG set! I honestly kind of forgot about the set, so this is coming a bit late. I knew going on that I would not be playing a lot of this set. It was the third "small set" in recent times, and the first two (Spider-Man and TMNT) were not very good limited environments. The smaller set size leads to samey drafts which is boring. So for that reason and the fact that I was looking forward to the next set Reality Fracture, I decided ahead of time to not do too many drafts of this set and save resources for the next one. SOS Limited Summary / Notes I played a mere 12 drafts for this set, which is probably less than half of the amount I play for typical sets. I only played during the first quick draft period. Coincidentally I did not play a lot of Lord of the Rings either. My win rate was about average. HOB was not a well-balanced limited format. Rakdos was way too strong compared to the other archetypes, and for that reason it was my most played…
