Snowapple Says Good Morning

To the absence of kitty treats Snowapple does not have diabetes but in my morning (and evening) ritual to give the diabetic creatures their insulin, kitty treats are involved as a consolation prize for the whole 'getting stabbed in the neck with needles' bit. However because I'm not a monster (debatable, hold that thought a second) usually the non-diabetic cats ALSO get treats as part of the ritual. Much to consider that they directly benefit from the illness of their siblings. ANYWAY this morning...I ran out of treats and hadn't fucking realized it. Had just enough for the diababies and Snoops was QUITE distraught by the exclusion; couldn't understand why I was making all the requisite noises without the expected payoff. He's really not a food motivated cat so there's nothing else I can give him to placate and in hindsight, had I known I was out of treats I would have given the diababies some chicken or something because they love a snack of any kind and are less picky.
