Bubbles Makes the Web Interesting Again

Yeah, this is another one of those posts about Bubbles. But what the fuck, why not join the others in praising something that actually gives me a lot. Entertainment, curiosity, enlightenment, and strong doses of reality. All that, plus the break it gives me from the algorithms. I can read posts by real people, written for real people. Not curated. Not targeted. Just shit people want to say, whether it is a deep philosophical manifesto, somebody talking about a book they are reading, a strange thing they noticed on a walk, or simply a paragraph about something completely random. Bubbles is spiffy that way. I’ve read posts where, by the time I finished, I realized how much I enjoyed getting into the weeds with someone about whatever the hell they felt like writing about. Sometimes it is something I already care about. Other times it is something I would never have searched for, clicked on, or even known existed. That is part of what makes it interesting.
