Seeking God in Science part 13: The Theory of Ontological Categories

I was going to continue the sub-series on quantum mechanics by talking about waves, but the first installment didn't quite lead to the spirited discussion I was expecting. In an effort not to lose my audience I'm going to take a little detour and tackle another more philosophical topic. I first wrote about this ten years ago. In the intervening time no one has ever pointed me to
