Not enough blogging

It's been almost another month since I last posted... As mentioned in my previous post, this has largely been due to the busyness that comes with the start of the academic year (which despite all our planning always comes up against some kind of unexpected challenge). I've got a big project I'm working on too that unfortunately isn't going quite as well as I would like - due to the aforementioned problems - and by the time I reach the end of the day I'm just too mentally tired to do the work justice. The workload is almost back to a kind of equilibrium so I should be able to work on the project during the day now (this has been agreed by my workplace) as long as nothing else comes up. It's why I've purposefully loaded up Obsidian today to write this post to get warmed up for more writing. Yes, I have been doing some writing, but not the kind of writing that is conducive to unpacking ideas necessary for academic insights. Whilst this post certainly isn't, it's still a useful exercise…
