one more day........

came this closeI got 5 coats on the box and the lid and I'm calling that part done. In the AM I'll install the Soss hinges and I'll rub down the box and lid with Howard's Feed 'n Wax. Then the oohs and aahs can commence followed by much dancing and rejoicing in Mudville.I spent most of the day resting and doing nothing. I made two trips to the shop to slap on shellac and that was it. Last night I hit the rack at 2200 and 5 minutes later I launched into a 15 minute coughing fit. After that I coughed on and off for the rest of the night. The last time I looked at the clock it said 0235. I must have drifted off after that and woke again at 0330 coughing again.The rest of the night pretty much stuck to the same dance steps. I finally went vertical a little after 0700 feeling like crappola. That feeling stayed with me all day long. Tomorrow I'll go to the VA and pick my Rx and I'm looking forward to getting some relief.
