I read a report (such as this is) in the New York Post titled NYC coffee shop serves up pumpkin spice lattes — inside real pumpkins. Some coffee shop in Astoria is dumping lattes into live pumpkins and selling them for $15. The article quotes the owner as stating that the concept is that the shop wanted to give Astoria residents the pumpkin patch experience. While I cannot read minds, I have my doubts.
