Week 43 of 2026

A rather uneventful week. Currently on the coach back from Anfield and I get travel sick easily so keeping these notes brief. I had Thursday and Friday off work only for plans to change at the very last minute. Rather than going to back to work on Friday, I chose to have a long weekend instead. Tried to watch some of the NBA games this week but found it harder than it should have been. Photographers sync their cameras to strobe lights in the arena and they illuminate the court when the photographer wants to take an action shot. For whatever reason the flashes were much more noticeable and frequent during broadcasts to the point that it became impossible to watch without getting a headache. Wet and stormy weather helped contribute to the decision to stay home and "enjoy the mortgage". Half our garden fence is now horizontal though, so that's not ideal. I was up incredibly early on Sunday morning to get the coach up to Liverpool. I spent most of Saturday evening cooking so I wouldn't be…
