Fixing my LocalBytes Tasmota smart bulb which had lost its Tasmota template 0 ▲ Neil's blog 1 hour ago · Tech · hide · 0 comments I have used a LocalBytes smart bulb in our porch light for ages. It is controlled by Home Assistant, so that it comes on a few minutes before sunset, and goes off later in the evening. For some reason, it reverted to Tasmota’s default settings - without the LocalBytes bulb functionality - a while ago. Now that the clocks have changed, and it is darker earlier, fixing it moved up my priority list. Fortunately, it was pretty straightforward, thanks to the LocalBytes documentation. The key bit is the Tasmota template for the bulb: {"NAME":"LocalBytes Bulb","GPIO":[0,0,0,0,416,419,0,0,417,420,418,0,0,0],"FLAG":0,"BASE":18} With this, and the Tasmota instructions for importing templates, I have a working bulb again.
