A fun and warm week (25ºC) after last weeks rain. I’ve enjoyed breakfast and evenings on the balcony every single day. But the clocks have gone back and it’s looking like awful weather for the foreseeable so I was glad to make the most of the sunny weather, including: Failing to watch the AEK game On tuesday my local team AEK were playing manchester city away in the champions league, so I thought I’d pop down to my favourite bar right outside the stadium to watch it with the locals at 10pm. Alas I found my favourite bar has closed down, and all the other bars were jam packed. I walked around sweatily all of Nea Filadelfeia looking for an alternative for half an hour, but gave up in the end and went home. AEK lost 5-1 in the end so probably for the best that I missed it, being an englishman and all.
