Here are some snapshots of what I saw when I was walking around Bugis this morning… ~ An Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) gantry for automatic collection of road toll. These gantry are currently being phased out, and replaced with a system that relies on satellites. Also, if you live in Singapore, you need to learn a lot of acronyms and initialisms. ~ Looking up at a public housing apartment block… or, as we call it here, an HDB. ~ It is a bit 'hazy' today, as the wildfires at neighboring Indonesia continues to burn. Actually, it's not that bad today, compared to the previous week, due to a change in wind direction… ~ If I am not wrong, this is Saint Joseph's Church. As you can tell, there isn't much space on this tiny island, and everything is squeezed together.
