Day 253: Autumn Leaves

2026-10-17Hello! The leaves, they be falling.I noticed someone walking left to right, and I lifted the camera to my eye to capture them as they passed between the two trees. This made for a nice framing in the center of the image.After the busy photo festival in New York City, I took the train to the north end of Central Park. I wanted to walk down the entirety of the park's long end, with enough time to make my train home. It took me about two hours, and it was a lovely stroll as the sun set in the west. My ankles hurt only a little bit.After more than 250 days of posting 250 photos (albeit with an inconsistent pace), I'm now finding my groove with photography. I don't want to put too much emphasis on public feedback and criticism, but I've received lovely comments on still-life experiments, documentary portrait work in the professional environment, and my recent dizzy shot of the landscape. My next landmark is 300 days, and I've been working on that project for a while now.I wonder…
