Weeknote 12: on courage 0 ▲ designswarm {thoughts} 57 minutes ago · Life · hide · 0 comments I don’t really make anything anymore. All the work I’ve done in the last few years could be distilled into a disposable stack of chat messages, emails, documents and calendar invites owned by Microsoft, Google and Slack. But what I try very much to do is build the environment for other people to make good things. Instead of being abstract (like most Linkedin management waffle) here are three examples from my week: I shared a really interesting tool a couple of designers (Dan and Stu) have been working on quietly in the background. I’d seen it a few months ago but decided to give them the summer to keep working on it without pressure. They shared it in a Screening UCD team meeting last week but I promoted to other teams (outside of Screening) this week. People have asked to access it now. This is fun and exciting for those designers to get feedback and see their work get used. I hope they write something public about it soon. All I did was write a Slack message and post it on a bunch… No comments yet. Log in to reply on the Fediverse. Comments will appear here.
