What’s New Scooby-Doo? – 14 Sept 2010

Today’s recording starts with the end of Dennis the Menace. There’s a trail for Live ‘n’ Deadly. There’s some Iain and Dodge nonsense (three helpings today). Then it’s What’s New Scooby-Doo? – Go West Young Scoob. In this episode, the Scooby gang are literally visiting Westworld. A Western-themed town where everyone is a robot. Their train carriage is held up by some bandits, but Fred soon takes them down. Only they were robots, and part of the “attractions”. They’re greeted by Dr Freg, the only human in Cyber Gulch, and the person who invented all of the robots in the town, only he calls them “Manimatrons” Their first experience is a runaway stagecoach, which is rescued in the nick of time by the robot sheriff of the town. Another of the guests at the hotel is Leora Lasswell, whose job is, apparently, “professional Western authenticator” and she tells them how much anachronism there is in the town.
