Name That Trauma:: Patrick M. on a Face in the Window

When I was a kid, there was a movie where a woman was on a staircase, one of those with a window about halfway up. She looked out the window, and saw a creepy man's face looking in. She screamed, ran downstairs and outside to see if there was really a man, or if she imagined it. The only person outside was a kid, about 10 years old, who was very blase and nonchalant about her freakout, and said he hadn't seen anybody. I have no idea what this movie was, but I couldn't walk past open windows for a while after that. Patrick M.
