Issue revalidating Claude app in Safari 0 ▲ Sérgio Spagnuolo 1 hour ago · Tech · hide · 0 comments I recently came across an annoying issue while revalidating my Claude Desktop login with Safari on a Mac. I was locked out of making new prompts in Claude's Electron-based app, and "Login with Google" was not working at all. We couldn’t verify your browser. Try again, or contact support if it keeps happening. That was the message I was getting repeatedly. As I use Little Snitch to block any outgoing connections from Claude Desktop (I allow several incoming connections), I was almost certain that could be the issue, so I added a temporary rule to allow this to happen once. Did not work. I also use StopTheMadness Pro, the awesome Safari extension to block a bunch o shit trying to crawl into your browser, and then I thought it could also be it. It has so many functions that I did not want to rethink them again, so I turned the extension briefly off to do the login. It also did not work. I then Googled this error message and got a hint from Gemini that it could by Apple's Private Relay.… No comments yet. Log in to reply on the Fediverse. Comments will appear here.
