Irreverent Act, 1976 0 ▲ American Age Fashion 1 hour ago · Art · hide · 0 comments Photo by Richard Kalvar I know longer remember where I found this photo by Richard Kalvar, a well-known American photographer who got his start in the 1970s. Don’t you wonder how he captured it? Was he hired as an event photographer for what looks like a pretty boring, organized luncheon and suddenly lucked out at the irreverent moment of protest? What a wonderful contrast between the very dressed up older woman and her childish bubble blowing. But there’s more going on here. It looks like she planned the round bubble to go with her outfit, which is adorned with circles. There is her polka dot blouse, the bauble bracelet, and even earrings with large pearls. You can even see her big round hair-do as part of the theme. No comments yet. Log in to reply on the Fediverse. Comments will appear here.
