Olivia Dean at Western Springs

What’s going on, Internet? Saturday was a pretty good day. Sun was shining, but damn it was freezing cold (literal shivering) when out of the sun. So after we had dinner down at Ralph’s on our way to Western Springs to see Olivia Dean we decided to make a quick detour home to grab our jackets. Lucky we did, because damn, it was cold. Western Springs is an outdoor stadium. We were amongst 45,000 people who turned up to see Olivia Dean. She kicked off on time at 9pm, but three songs in disaster struck. Equipment failure. She was visibly fustrated, but wanted to reassure the crowd… Forty minutes later she was back in action and completed her set. It was cold, it was getting late and that forty minutes wrecked me so we dipped a bit early before she wrapped up. Home and in bed before 11:30. Gotta pick up some of her vinyl now.
