Be Cleraly Intersting Once a Day

No one has ever asked me what I’ve learned making a blog entry a day for a year. And I hate that this dangerously flies very close to a LinkedIn-style post, but it’s what I’ve got to say today, which is… It’s much easier for me to get my point across when I know that every day, I’ve got to say a little something interesting or tell an interesting story about something generally connected to music, usually, but not always, because there’s no rules. There is one rule. Don’t sound like LinkedIn. Don’t teach lessons and talk down to a bunch of people who are doing the exact same things. Really, it’s just chatbox talking, but that’s something else entirely. I just am focusing on everything so much better. Musically, when I want to tell people what I’m doing, when I’m trying to focus in on what I’m trying to do with a song, or a piece, or part, or someone’s asked me to do something with their band.
