On Indieweb overwhelm, creative recentering, and remembering to keep on writing 0 ▲ Egypt Rain Mountain 1 day ago · Life · hide · 0 comments The Indieweb is exciting. Especially for a newbie like myself. So many cool links, styling options, blogroolols, directories, webrings, and such. Yet I want to stay true to my core. Which is about creating my art, poetry and writing in general. It can be easy to run around online doing all manner of things. But writing and putting my art out there is important to me. This is sort of a self reminder to stay on course, to stay in my own lane. And not go about chasing every shiny object/platform/tool. The thing is, moving from traditional platforms (I've been writing on Medium for about 3 years, I want to exist more calmly and peacefully online and not be all over the place). It's why my main presence online will be centred around my personal website/digital garden. It's why I want to focus on writing and creating art and making healthy online connections as my priority.
