10.19.2026 (One year of weeknotes!!!)

This post (give or take a day or two) will be one full year of me doing weeknotes! Crazy! I'll put my thoughts about weeknotes at the end of this post because I want to write about the fun stuff I did last week first. Two of my good friends Dan and Tayla got married in Newport this past weekend!! I was one of Dan's groomsmen and my friend Tim was his best man. Picked up my tux on Thursday and drove down to Newport the next morning for the rehearsal and the friends and family dinner. Hadn't been to Newport in at least a decade, weather kind of sucked Friday but cleared up Saturday just in time for the ceremony. The wedding was at one of the vineyards and it was super nice, great wine too! The ceremony was outside and it was very cold but thankfully we only had to sit out there for 15 minutes.
