Athens Greeknotes 19 Oct 0 ▲ felix.gripe 3 hours ago · Life · hide · 0 comments An unwelcome cold and wet week here in athens, schools and ferries were closed on wednesday for the storm. I spent that evening bailing out and mopping up a friends flooded basement, all the apartment block denizens pitched in and after a few hours we got it dry. The temperature dropping as low as 14ºC forced me on to vinted to buy a raincoat and jumper, actions that have spurred the weather to return to a v pleasant 21ºC and sunny for the foreseeable. Thus apart from the mopping I spent pretty much the whole week being cosy indoors, plenty of work and reading to the unfamiliar sound of rain. Κανέλος Enjoyed the company of an extremely welcome visitor, Κανέλος (Cinnamon) from Syros and owner, who is relocating from the island to athens, and I was delighted to dog sit for a night. He’s a big clingy old boy who loves to sleep with his head on your lap 🥰 Food & τσίπουρο I did venture out for food once, treated to a meal in gratitude for the mopping, at my local taverna, To Kotetsi… No comments yet.
